FOOD-FESTIVAL-NEWS-FEAT-IMAGE-17Brighton’s Pub du Vin on Ship Street hosted a special night of ale tasting with the team from Sussex favourite Hepworth Brewery on Thursday 18 April.

Guests enjoyed five of Hepworth’s popular beers including the hoppy Sussex pale ale, Iron Horse rich strong bitter and the Conqueror Sussex stout which was recently declared Supreme Champion Keg Beer by the Society of Independent Brewers.

“We’re passionate about Sussex beers and ciders”, said pub landlord James Duff, “and it is a real treat to have the experts from the brewery come and talk us through how their drinks are made”.

The beers were accompanied by a selection of pub grub bites from the kitchens of Pub du Vin including pork faggots and burger sliders.
