The Coal Shed heads to the big smoke

The Coal Shed is going to London and taking part of Brighton with them. The second branch of the very popular Brighton restaurant opens on the Thames at the new One Tower Bridge development in early October.

Just at with the Brighton branch on Boyces Street, the new restaurant will showcase a specials board of daily changing rare breed meats sourced from the Sussex area. All dishes will be cooked over fire by head chef Dave Mothersill.

“We’ve worked with Finclass Butchers from day one”, says Dave. “They deliver a consistent product with amazing beef that’s aged to our specifications”.

The Coal Shed London will be focusing on different breeds from various farms from around the UK all aged for no less than 35 days. Their sister restaurant The Salt Room will also have an influence with South Coast fish; sustainable, seasonal and local to our original site.
