Brighton Cocktail Week arrives in May featuring over 30 top bars and restaurants citywide. Each venue will showcase five twists on classic cocktails with gin, vodka, bourbon, tequila and rum liquors.
“Brighton Cocktail Week will be a fabulous celebration of the city’s best bars”, says Mark Makin of event sponsor Pernod Ricard. “Brighton has a vibrant and creative bartending community. We are looking forward to working with them to inspire, surprise and delight cocktail lovers across the city”.
Consumers can participate by purchasing a £10 wristband in advance of the event, which then allows them to buy cocktails at the promotional price of just £5 each. Non-wristband holders can also enjoy Brighton Cocktail Week drinks but they will be at full list price.
Venues range from iconic bars such as The Cocktail Shack, Hotel du Vin and Drakes through to hidden gems such as The Windmill, Aguadulce Spanish Restaurant and Smokeys.

Presented by the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival and Mixology Group, Brighton Cocktail Week is supported by a number of premium liquor brands including Sussex’s Blackdown Distillery, Absolut vodka, Cazcabel tequila, Havana Club rum and Jim Bean double oak twice barrelled bourbon, alongside Fentimans beverages.

Brighton Cocktail Week culminates with the Brighton Mix Off Competition on the Live Food Show stage at the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival’s free entry Sussex & The World Weekend on Sunday 28 May on Hove Lawns.
