Join chefs Kieron James and Andy Pollexfen cooking up a special evening showcasing the stunning produce of the Channel Island of Guernsey, including organic pork from farmer and butcher Jason Hamon, Torteval cheese, Fresh Guernsey Herbs and the dairy produce that the island is rightly renowned for.
Kieron is an entrepreneurial cook from Brighton, who, following an appearance on BBC’s Masterchef in 2013, set up the Beach BBQ grill and catering business in Brighton.
Kieron, raised in Coledale, NSW, Australia, has a flare for cooking and creating food that people want to eat, balancing good food and complex flavours. Kieron uses produce from local suppliers and produces delicious, creative and interesting street style food.
Andy Pollexfen at The Manor
The Manor is an independent bistro in the heart of the popular North Laine of Brighton. Andy takes pride in taking a good old fashioned approach to cooking, he smokes his own cheese, fish and meat and has an array of jams and chutneys made using produce from his mum’s allotment.
With great quality, homely food on the menu alongside excellent service, The Manor is a popular choice for locals and visitors.
